I have a question about Twitter
I realize this runs the risk of sounding completely self-absorbed, but I hope it’s just the kind of simple curiosity that everyone would have: why does Twitter’s interface become completely useless once you pass a certain number of RTs and/or favorites on a particular tweet?

Tribal knowledge: buying cucumbers
It turns out there’s no way to accurately tell whether the cucumber you’re buying is going to be bitter, but the produce guy did give me an unrelated tip: stick to the skinnier ones. The interior volume of a fatter cucumber is likely to be mostly seeds. And now you know what I know.

Have you ever paused for a moment to consider how weird it is that “winter dryness” is a thing that exists? Why should our skin get drier and itchier in the winter?
